George, off to a brilliant start this season, shot 7-for-21. After bricking two early shots, Gay hit five field goals in a row in the first quarter, scoring 14 points. When he is going well, Gay’s game can be seductive.

Gay, at least, showed signs of life after his bad start to the year. The Raptors scored just 38 points in the second half.
